First of all, you can't miss this place, even if it is a bit off the beaten path. When you arrive, you find yourself in a lovely tea garden. As you walk through the garden, you'll be greeted by Pick, an extremely friendly little terrier who entertains us by playing with his toys for our dog. Chickens and goats roam freely, living their best lives, and I suspect they all have distinct personalities, just like Pick.

Nestled in a remote location, finding this restaurant can be a challenge; you either know where it is or you don’t. However, once you arrive, you'll be greeted by the friendliest owners you can imagine. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The food is fantastic, and the ascent from the square is great for cyclists. There’s a lovely chimenea that keeps you warm, making this welcoming spot even cozier given its distance from more populated areas. This is a wonderful place! The warm welcome, fabulous bacon rolls, and egg sandwiches are delightful. Their cream teas are a highlight, especially with the amazing scones served with jam and cream. I can't recommend it enough for a summer day; it truly embodies the beauty of the Yorkshire sky.
love this little jewel hidden in the moors. beautiful stop at going. scones are amazing, but make sure they are hungry as they get 2 per person!
