Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! After a friend raved about Hendricks, I now understand why. I highly recommend making a reservation because it was very busy when we went on a Wednesday night. All the waiters are highly knowledgeable about everything you order. They’re very friendly and make you feel like family. For apps, we ordered the Zucchini and Eggplant chips. It was delicious!!! If you’re questioning whether to get it or not, GET IT. For the entrees, we ordered the Prime Bone In, 3lb lobster and the Porterhouse. They cooked the meats right at the temperature we asked for and the food all came out relatively quick. Hendrick's Tavern is a true masterpiece by the Poll Brothers! My wife and I love this restaurant at any time of day, and we have particularly enjoyed their weekend brunch recently. The menu is extensive and the quality and service are always exceptional. The ambiance is also a highlight for us - it's masculine yet cozy, warm and inviting. It's a popular spot for family gatherings and private events like baby showers, birthday parties, and engagement parties. We are even considering having our first baby shower there. Hendrick's Tavern is perfect for any occasion - you won't be disappointed!
10 of us had brunch today at Hendricks Tavern and initially we were outside but the weather was beautiful at 90 degrees so we requested to be moved inside where It was much cooler and comfortable. The brunch menu was quite diverse and the food was not only presented beautifully but tasted amazing. The service was excellent as they were able to accommodate our party in the inside so we'd be more comfortable while we enjoyed our brunch. I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch lunch dinner.

First time going to Hendrick’s tavern and it was a lovely experience. We had 1 pm reservations and was seated prominently. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Out server john was really nice. Sorry again John for the misunderstanding of water and order! And thank you for the lemon ricotta pancakes. Looking forward to our next time. It was so nice that i made reservations for a birthday dinner celebration in April before leaving.
I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law did not enjoy her veggie burger, but I personally enjoyed my lobster roll. The coleslaw was particularly good, I would rate it 8/10. My father-in-law was happy with his chicken dish as well. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant.
What a welcoming and exceptional establishment. The service and hospitality are top notch, from the greeter at the hostess stand, to the bartender behind the bar and of course Rudy looking after our table. Thank you for making my familys experience memorable and we will be sure to return very soon!
Definitely one of my new favorite steak houses in NY. Top quality food delivered with top quality service. Perfectly cooked prime ribeye and porterhouse. Amazing zucchini and eggplant chips that are a must order. Mouth watering apple crisp and brownie sundae. Finally an exquisite wine selection.

14 of my classmates and I were so happy to meet at Hendrick’s and have a very overdue reunion. The service impeccable, the food delicious and the room beautiful! Thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon brunch.
The ambiance was also really nice. The only thing is I wish the outside had a little shade. The sun was glaring in our faces. The setup was nice and spacious.
