Hennessey's Tavern Laguna Beach

Delicious, comfortable and casual. I had little pricier compared to other sushi sites in Laguna, but service was great and we had a wonderful time. Gustavo Pancho Villa is a large sushi cook and very accommodating. We had a role with cooked beef and everything I would suggest is that it is raw (Dink Carpaccio or Kibbe) or very rare. The taste was lost by making so good. The LOVE Roll and Tuna sashimi were my favorites!

Decent sushi. Not amazing but good. I don’t like that they only serve bottled water and include gratuity. Also, they wouldn’t do a side of broccoli for the kids and we had to buy a whole steamed veggies dish for $15! Honestly it’s overpriced and not really worth it. Try Hapa sushi down the street. It’s better. But the servers were nice so that goes a long way.

By far my favorite sushi place in OC, great food service! Been cooming here for over 10 years! Try the Maui roll..you won't be disappointed!
