Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Server messed that up for me. She actually failed to give us a list of the specials available. Had she told us about the specials we would have ordered diffently. Don't know if she felt as if we couldn't affording, after all, when she asked about how the appetizer was, we responded good but we ran out of bread. She stated it's free to order more. Let that remark slide but when she began rattling off the specials to the tables around us, it made me feel over looked by the time she did it to everyone after. The pot roast and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the fish and chips. It was great. The fish was super hot. The service was absolutely garbage waitress check twice. Halfway through the meal, she brings out the check offers no dessert menu, however the table next to us their waiter went over the desserts they had to offer. We did not order an appetizer for a reason because we knew we wanted dessert. I had made a comment to the waitress about dessert and then she’s like oh you want some thing and then I told her no because of the way she treated us. We paid our bill, left a tip and left. The only reason I would go back to this restaurant is because the food is actually great.
Henry's is a local classic in my book. I've been several times over the years I've lived here, and it never disappoints. The food is always solidly on point, and the service is always very good. I usually sit at the bar, and always look forward to seeing if Kat is working. She is one of the best in the business she's professional, but also treats you with a familiarity that makes you feel truly welcomed. She adeptly handles a busy bar and never makes you feel as if she's too busy to take care of whatever you need. I highly recommend a trip to Henry's for any occasion, or for no occasion at all. This was a regular stop for us pre COVID. We had not been back until this past week and we were glad we went. The menu is classic American and Southern comfort food with a flare. The daily specials are also tempting. From the calamari appetizer to the lasagna, four cheese pasta and fish and chips everyone was extremely happy and full after their meal! our waitress was new but very attentive and quick with the refills. We did not have dessert only because our dinner portions were on the big side. Not overwhelming but enough for sure but late enough and filling enough. Needless to say we will be back. Me and my dad got in the door and saw the hostess seat the people in front of us. she unfortunately never came back and no one else came to seat us. We were waiting so long that we decided to sit to the side, then two other people came in and they were immediately seated BEFORE US. At that point we just left and went to kick back jacks, a much better place. 0/10 avoid at all costs unless you want to be treated like an animal.
This is our favorite local spot. We love Megan, Kat, Nancy and all the staff. They treat us like family. The food is delicious. We love the salmon and Parmesan crusted chicken but have never been disappointed. If you’re in the mood for appetizers, try the crab dip and their new bar manu with wings, nachos, sliders and much more. And the key lime pie is o e if the best desserts in town.
