We walked into Season's Cafe in the Heritage Inn in Pincher Creek and a customer exiting the restaurant warned us not to partake of the salad bar which was too bad since I was looking forward to taking advantage of the salad bar. Instead, we opted for a plate of seafood. I wished I had ordered the salad bar. The food had spent too much time in the deep fryer and it tasted like they had not changed the oil for days. The service was not great either. I will never go back.
The Heritage Inn cafe is a restaurant where we all know what to expect. Great for families, elders, small and large groups. Menu items are typical of this style of restaurant however very appealing for the traveler......NO SURPRISES! Food is presented in a very home cooked style and is well received on the pallet. Great daily soup and lunch specials. Decor is rather drab and could use some sprucing-up however very clean. Plenty of free parking.
Looking for a place to stay in town I went to the Ramada I can stay at the Banff springs hotel for the same as they were asking there so A local said to go to the Heritage inn, very glad I did very clean and comfortable nice attached restaurant very nice food, I stayed in the new wing and finding the reception was a little tricky a few wall signs with directions would be a great idea but overall very nice.
We wanted to be close to Waterton and this is a great option if you're budget traveling and can't afford prices in the park itself. Room was super clean, quiet air conditioner, and comfy beds with good pillows! Coin laundry onsite, super convenient. Also had larger mini-fridge and microwave. Staff has been wonderful. Internet was spotty for my husband's devices but I had no issues. Absolutely recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
We stayed at the hotel and wanted to have dinner there. It took bout 1 1/2 hours to get our food. Good thing the conversation was good and we were able to pass one. If we had had a car, we would have gone somewhere else. Several patrons around us left. Our food was ok but not worth such long wait. The wait staff did the right thing in giving us access to the salad buffet.
