This will be our first choice in Placerville going forward! Our other two choices were closed for various reasons but I had saw this place had good ratings so we went ahead with lunch and, Wow!, were we surprised at how good the food was. We even took a lunch to go for the next day it was so good! My daughter had a delicious pizza (I can vouch for it because I ate a slice) and I had a delicious salmon salad that had an amazing dressing. My wife had a chicken salad that she just raved about and she asked for the salmon salad to go. I love this restaurant. There are so many good places to eat on Main Street. But, Heyday Cafe is in my top two. I love everything I’ve ever eaten there. The staff is friendly, too, which makes it special. The food is delicious as is the wine selection. I highly recommend it to everyone.
