I just recently visited Sapporo for the first time since they changed ownership. Sapporo was pretty good before, but it is even better now. The sushi is fresh, like usual, but they also added rice pudding to the menu. I usually only find great rice pudding at Greek places, but the new owners must have a background making it since it is just as great at Sapporo. The staff was really engaging as well. If it was not for the waitress pitching the rice pudding to me, I would not have known how good it was. I might stop by more often now just for dessert. I recommend everyone tries this place and their rice pudding.
Delicious and fresh! It's rare to find authentic Japanese cuisine that hasn’t been Americanized, but this restaurant truly delivers. The prices are a bit high, which is to be expected for Japanese food in America. Overall, I plan to keep coming back as long as they continue to serve such tasty dishes!
Delicious food, many dishes to choose. very clean restaurant service is warm and prompt house special sushi is amazing, a must. Love the Udon soup, Tempoura, rice pudding house special blend tea is very special Fried Ice cream is delicious and a must as well
Alan is undoubtedly the best sushi chef on Long Island. If you're a sushi lover who appreciates excellent service, this is the place to be. Sit at the bar for a fantastic experience, and be sure to check out the specials—you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoy taking my family to this wonderful restaurant! It's my favorite place to eat, and I visit often. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I love having a nice dinner here.
Some of the best sushi Long Island has to offer. Superb presentation, excellent staff comfortable atmosphere come together at this long standing authentic Japanese restaurant. Highly recommended.
