Very nice food.. Myself and my fiance were visiting chester for one night and didn't know the area. Found this restaurant through an app on my phone so we thought we'd try it out. Didn't seem too expensive for what they were offering. Went inside and asked if we could get a table for two (saturday night you and with no booking we'd already turned down an hour and twenty minute wait at another restaurant). The waiter asked if we'd mind sitting at the kitchen bar which overlooked the preparation area of the kitchen. Great. we went to hickorys on March 1, 2013 when my friend was once before and I must say that I absolutely loved it. we had burnt bits and hot left to start (divided) and had the plate between us to share for a pornstar. we also ordered plenty of cocktails, all made fresh. we were bought water and popcorn when we sat down, that was a nice note. we had a private table out of the one I think there were many tables in this night. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend eating, drinking and service.
Smokey smoker. from this place on a laune populated, it has been for years when I visited chester, so after a causal walk through the river I stumbled over this place, and out of the hive of activity outside (in the interior and exterior seat beautiful touch as its right through the picturesque river dee) I thought that I was at the place was very busy and always out
hickory' smokehouse is an authentic American bbq restaurant at the river in the historic city chester. the staff is helpful and friendly. sitting outside with river view is amazing. they serve unlimited popcorn with the meals. both the Swiss sausage and garnel are delish.
