The food arrived well-packaged, complete with plastic utensils and condiments. For large orders, they even label some of the containers. I started ordering for delivery pretty regularly for the past 2 months. One time, early on, they messed up my order and delivered a calzone when I ordered a pizza, but since then, it's been fine. The delivery guys are always nice, arrives when promised. When I call, they have my address on file (I guess they can tell by the tel#? so that's always convenient. The pizza is good, I get plain. I think it's reasonably priced and even better when you have a coupon. It still tastes good the next day too. (I would give the pizza a 4 . my parents love this place and order there all the time. unfortunately that means i 'm forced to eat it when I go to visit. the chicken tenders are overdone and dry. the salad dressings are awful (specifically the honey mustard that looks like slime). the tuna panini was DRY. the chopped cobb salad was not chopped at all. I asked to sub cheddar instead of blue cheese. they send cheddar sauce. actual liquid cheese. for a salad. their fries are okay which is why they got two stars instead of one. I have never had anything decent from this place, including the pizza. theres far better pizza and such in the area, save your money and go elsewhere.
I ordered a Margherita pizza, and it was rather disappointing. The sauce had a bitter flavor and was overly generous, making the pizza soggy. To add to the problem, they used deli mozzarella cheese that had hardened by the time I got home and slid right off the excessively saucy pizza when I tried to pick it up. Additionally, I requested onions on my pizza, but instead of sliced onions on top, they put large chunks of chopped onions beneath the cheese and sauce. I certainly won’t be coming back.

I just ordered delivery. Amazing service, quick spend, and great food! I used to not prefer them about 2 years ago but for the past 3 months they are better than anyone in Edison/highland/New Brunswick. You order a cheese steak and it comes in 2 separate boxes huge! It looks like you get 2 for the price of one! I will not order from any other spot around here for now on. Good job highland pizza! You have a regular customer now
Highland Pizza has great slices. Their Garlic Knots are awesome. I had a housemate from Milan, Italy, and she loved this place. You can't get a better endorsement than that. The Grandma slices are awesome. Sometimes I get a cheesesteak or cold sub. Chico makes the best! I have been a customer here for 27 years now, and these guys stayed open long hours right through the pandemic. Five Stars any day.
As a first-time customer, I had a great experience! The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The pizza was decent and offered a great variety of slices. The restaurant has a small, old-school vibe with two large TVs for watching the game. I would definitely return to try more items from their menu!
Amazing pizza! We particularly love the white pizza, as well as the classic plain pizza and the mushroom and green pepper option. This place embodies a traditional New York-style pizzeria, complete with cozy booths and plenty of takeout choices. They also make a fantastic salad.

This was my first and last time ordering from Highland Park Pizza. The meat tasted stale and the green peppers and onions were brown as if they came from a can. I took a chance to give them a call to complain and they were rude and discredited mycomplaints.
