We had a fantastic meal at Prairie Grass Cafe. The spring rolls were filled with perfectly cooked shrimp and the sweet chili sauce with garlic and cilantro complemented them well. The flounder with roasted carrots and parsnip-potato purée was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented with a generous portion. The mussels with parsley, shallots, and breadcrumbs pasta reminded us of a dish we love in Sicily, pasta con le sarde. The mussels were plump and tasty. The wine selection was excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the Attems Pinot Grigio from Friuli, Italy '22 with our mussels and flounder, and the Fritz Haag Riesling from Germany '21 with our pumpkin pie for dessert. The...

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the service and atmosphere make dining with friends or family even more enjoyable. The vegetables and meat are of top quality and prepared simply and deliciously. There is no waste at this restaurant. When ordering the sirloin hamburger, the staff will ask if you prefer it with or without a bun. I usually opt for no bun, and the burger comes with a topping of blue cheese, sautéed red onion, and a side of tomato. The high-quality, delicious food and excellent service keep customers coming back time and time again.

This is our first time here been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding super fresh we had the shrimp appetizer whitefish dinner and a mocktail apple cinnamon. The service was excellent our waiter Ansar was fantastic very attentive made sure our experience was great I would highly recommend this hidden gem we went on a weekday at 455pm dinner starts at 5 tell everyone we will definitely be back

There's a reason why Sarah Stegner is one of the best chefs in the Midwest. Her Kehoe Salmon with apple pomegranate cabbage salad is pure heaven. This salmon literally melted in my mouth perfectly crispy on the outside and like butter on the inside and the salad perfectly match the dish. If I could have lick the plate I would have but I didn't want to be banned from her restaurant. This dish really proves that she's a culinary genius.

The reviews promised a great meal. To be fair I have the seasonal grilled chicken salad and burrata. Best burrata I've ever had. However, my spouse have the salmon burger and it was the blahest salmon patty that we have ever eaten. The atmosphere was nice, think eating dinner at the clubhouse. Most of the customers were retires and seemed popular.
