Highlanes Fish And Chips, Hayle

The best fish and chips for miles around! Brilliant service from a hard working team behind the counter. All praise to the staff, as due to the quality of the food and service it’s always super busy in there, and they always have a smile on and are polite and helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of the ladies that I see regularly behind the counter! Prices are really good as well as the portion size. I’ve been coming to this fish and chip shop for years and they never fail to disappoint. Everything across the board they seem to nail. Can’t say a negative word about them, they are by far the best across board. If you are in Hayle, get yourself over to High Lanes for a proper fish and chips!!

Found this place from Tripadvisor reviews. Off the beaten track in amongst a little housing estate. Full of locals. Got fish bites and chips for the kids and fish and chips for us huge portions, well done crispy chips and beautiful fish. Would whole heartedly recommend, reasonably priced considering the portion size too. Very efficient staff, thank you!

Excellent fish chips, definitely the best in Hayle. Fish freshly cooked, lovely crunchy batter, chips hot, crisp golden, fluffy in the middle. Huge portion of chips. We had two portions between three, still far too much so sadly done were wasted.

Come here every year when we have our family holiday in cornwall. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the food is great especially the gravy! The gravy is amazing! Hahaha see you next year Réservez une table maintenant

Reputation for the best and chips around and didn’t disappoint! Crispy light batter, perfectly fried chunky fillet of cod, and real chips old school style. Top drawer never change!

I wouldn’t normally think about reviewing a Fish Chip shop, but it was exceptional. Great chips, and the haddock was out of this world. Very nicely cooked and a gorgeous batter.

Went in on a sat night ordered fish and chips …. Sat in my car and had my food .. food was lovely! But my god the lady’s in there need to paint a smile on their faces ..

We came on holiday and called in for Fish and chips. All in all 10/10 and we'll worth the visit. Give it a try if you fancy some good honest food.
