"This was an amazing brunch/breakfast place, has a warm homelike mood. Everyone was nice, the food was a lot and delicious. As usual in these places, all the coffee you want. The Omelet was really good! Definitely recommended!"

My wife and I are in the habit of finding local gems to dinate, Hilary's Roadhouse is one of them! Great food, good quantities and really good service. When you arrive there after 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday, you will wait, but don't fret them turn the tables quickly! The place is old and shows its wear a little. The thing is, you can either go to a chic place where they will offer you much more than the product they offer or you are worth it, or you can go on site and know that the owners do their best to balance food costs and value. I choose value!!
I loved this place, it's one of those hidden gems!!! I had breakfast here with my cousin. She knows I love ma and pa restaurants. It's a tight squeeze but it's so worth it. You seat yourself and your kinda packed in there. Even though your next to a stranger it's not awkward. Everybody is friendly and down to earth including the workers. Also, food was so flavorful and came out quickly. I absolutely love this place I wouldnt change a thing!! Including spacing.
View this 2nd generation local diner in Maryland Heights. Lindsey is the absolutely sweetest person and server we've ever met! She made excellent recommendations for breakfast, served at speed, and the kitchen cooked all TO PERFECTION - especially my medium rare steak... it's so good, and I'm so full that it comes with us! My BF also claims that the eggs Hilary are for to die! Two thumbs up!
We were just here searching for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. My mother had the cookies and Gravy and they were also great. In addition, the coffee was so good and the service was phenomenal, although it was busy. We will be absolutely back!
