Well we were trying to get into nearby crossroads food shop early sunday afternoon but the wait was over an hour, so we went next door. We walked in and we were the only ones there. We sat by the back window, old local decorations were inviting. But the fire coming out of the wood fired pizza oven was exceptionally inviting. Our server was very friendly accomodating and in full covid compliance. We had a delicious, fresh meal. We both had Little Gem Salads with grilled chicken, great flavors, superb ingredients and nice presentation with house made dressings. Cole Slaw side was very good; gluten free bun was available for my wife who wanted some bread. We were excited they had saratoga spark...
On Sunday, we decided to stop for lunch while driving through town. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took over 50 minutes to receive our order of Fish and Chips and a mushroom burger. When I inquired with our waitress, she explained that there was a large table outside that had delayed our meals. Once our food arrived, I was disappointed to find that my fish was a small fillet with a thick and flavorless batter, while my wife's burger was not up to par, especially with the supposed pickled carrots. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the kitchen staff merely dismissed my complaints. We will not be returning and I will be sure to share our negative experience with others.
I can't give a positive review. The food looks great in the pictures on Yelp, but it actually was not good. The onion soup was salty and the bread not toasted . The pizza was really sloppy. Not crispy and the cheese just a mess. Like bowling alley pizza. The fried chicken was decent and is a signature dish. It is not bad. The service was horrible. The waitress disappeared for long periods and never refilled drinks, even after we asked. ...And it was not crowded. I think part of the issue is the post covid staffing. Service is suffering . Our waitress was very nice but she struggled . They are just under staffed. I would not return.
It's a nice restaurant space w a big menu, but everything we ordered was substandard. prosciutto pizza was replaced by Canadian ham and overtly salty, pull pork was full of gravy but no flavor except syrupy, mac and cheese is simple hard to consume, the kids didn't touch it after a bite and I don't blame them! the waitress are friendly and attentive when we visited on sunday evening.

Relatively new take in a building that has been around a while. We had the best BLTs I have ever eaten including a fried egg on the sandwich. Sweet potato fries went along with the meal and were delicious. We sat outside on the porch on a lovely Sunday afternoon we are still reluctant to dine indoors. Service was attentive and friendly. Great spot in Hillsdale for lunch and dinner. Varied menu and fairly priced. Good service. Love the burgers and pizza. Guinness on tap is a plus.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is nice, the prices are great, and it's a chill place.
The braised beef short rib sandwich and macaroni and cheese were delicious! The food was great and the service was outstanding.

Salmon was delicious. I usually get half the size at other restaurants. Just a little more expensive but definitely worth it.
We got takeout from here and it was very tasty, and reasonably priced. Friendly staff at pickup. Recommend!
