Initially, we thought the hotel was located in an unexpected area. Truthfully, we weren’t sure if the area was good or bad, but it was actually perfect as it was near several shops, restaurants and freeway. Immediately, we liked the hotel; from the drive in, the stress free parking, the clean open lobby and easy check in. As Hilton Honors members, we also received extra bottles of water, slippers and a snack. Additionally we were provided a list of nearby restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores and attractions. The list was extremely helpful. We did notice that the hotel mostly had Asian patrons. Not that this really mattered, but it fondly reminded me of Hong Kong. All hotel staff were out...

Parking is an additional charge per night, and it tends to fill up quickly. After a day of sightseeing, we often returned around 11 PM to find only one spot available at the far end of the lot. We opted not to park in the underground garage due to concerns about theft, but we had no issues parking above ground. The pool and hot tub are great amenities, and there’s a lovely view from the hallway outside the rooms. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay—clean, friendly, and conveniently located near all major sightseeing spots in LA, without the concerns of staying in a sketchy downtown area. It’s also a good choice for families, as it’s close to a Costco and excellent bubble tea shops! We...

We stayed there for 2 nights on our 2023 US Trip. During our 3 weeks tour we stayed in 15 different hotels of the Hilton group from 2-4 stars. Unfortunately this hotel is ranked on the last place of all stays we’ve had. When we arrived the door of our room didn‘t open. I had to go 2 times to the reception (1st floor) until they sent a guy who changed to batteries. The room itself was clean but a bit „smelly“ and a bit old fashioned (compared to the other hiltons during our trip) The breakfast was a complete Desaster. They are charging 18 USD for two cold slices of toast, a juice an a yoghurt (or a small cup of cereals) As I said we‘ve been in several 3-star Hampton Hotels which have done muc...

In the city of San Gabriel, there are now two above average big name hotel brands catering to Chinese/Asian Americans: the newer Sheraton and the older Hilton. We have stayed in both--numerous times over the past decade in the Hilton and most recently in the newer Sheraton.Honestly, they are substantially equivalent--from the Chinese/ Asian vibe, to the quality and size of the rooms, the prices, and even the cramped but available underground parking garage. Sure the Sheraton is newer, sure, but its newness doesn't really bestow any advantages. This Hilton has the better pool because it's indoor, if that matters to you.So my advice would be to just go by the price or whatever you have hotel p... Réservez une table maintenant

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton San Gabriel. Great service, food, accommodations, and location. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Restaurants had wide selection of food. Food was served quickly, well presented and tasted great. Ricky, Jason and Lilly provided excellent service in Jason’s Bar Restaurant (no relation to Jason the server . Anne, Susan, Henry and Paul were super in the Trinity Restaurant for breakfast. Dara (spelling? were fantastic at the front desk as were all the other front desk staff. The location is great for easy walking to many restaurants (mostly Asian and shops. We look forward to staying again!

Top 5 best hospitality experiences at a Hilton property. The staff was amazing. Angela was kind and accommodating for a room upgrade and checkout time. Diamond status does help, sometimes , but often it is not even mentioned. It was recognized here.I choose Hilton for a reason and this experience was proof of why I am extremely loyal to the brand. Thank you San Gabriel. I will be back. Also thank you for the cold water for my drive. Jonathan

Conveniently located near many food options. Staff was friendly. The rooms were rundown and in need of updates/renovations. Mildew on the bathroom ceiling and along the bathroom floor baseboards. Electric outlet in the bathroom was in an odd location above toilet 3 feet from the sink/mirror so you can't see what you're doing when using hairdryer or curling iron for your hair. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is very friendly. The area is safe and convenient, with plenty of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, all within a short walking distance. It is situated in the heart of the largest American Vietnamese and American Chinese communities.
