The opening of Hiro in Buxheim was in December 2016. The owner Shinko Wirtz has been living in Ingolstadt for many years and is known for her Japanese cooking classes, sushi courses or Wagyu grill courses. The name Hiro is the short name of Chef Morihiro Kitamura. He completed his training at the world-famous Hattori cooking school in Tokyo. Among other things, he ran his own restaurant in the famous Ryogoku district of Tokyo.
