Five stars for this gem of a restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere and a menu brimming with healthy delights. The juice options are plentiful and the smoothies are incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, while the healthy eating options exceeded my expectations. Every dish was beautifully crafted with wholesome ingredients, and the presentation was impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations. I came in today and I wanted to purchase the passionfruit lemonade. It was actually on the stand spinning and I asked that I wanted one and she told me that they’re not able to sell it because it’s not in the system. Why do you guys have something in front of the customers and it’s a hot day and they have the lemonade sign promoting the drink, but they can’t charge us. They can’t bring us up. That is so weird. Why?
I EAT THIS FOOD , ALMOST EVERY OTHER DAY, AND THIS FOOD IS VERY VERY TASTY, AND FRESH, AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY BANANA PUDDING IS TO DIE FOR, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A 5 STAR, A VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE, !!!!!! I WILL BE BACK AGAIN TOMORROW, FOR A REFRESHER , ONE OF THE BEST JUICE BARS AROUND, IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED HLS, YOUR MISSING OUT!!
HLS Is A Black Owned Restaurant Located In Maplewood NJ!! They Have An Amazing Selection Of Good Authentic Healthy Soul Food!! The Strawberry Banana Smoothie Was Really Flavorful And Smooth!! This Was My First Time Trying A Chicken Cheesesteak Wrap And It Did Not Disappoint!! The Staff Is Super Friendly And Really Welcoming!!!

I just went to this location for the first time and it was amazing! I am a super picky eater and when ordering I can be difficult but the staff couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful when taking my order. And then the finished product was absolutely delicious!I will be returning frequently.

i love your food but you keep getting rid of the gluten free wraps when i go to order lunch from you guys. i’ll be looking elsewhere due to your inconsistency. thanks
