The one houre hike took us to place with a stunning view over freshly green mountains. Farm houses would lie amid green fields and forests. Even for me as a local swiss it was once more the proof that one does not have tonl travel long in order to experience such a awesome view and a nice hike. The rather high prices on a coffee amaretto on the other hand showed us once more that having such amenities on such special places are not possible for free. The ride down the mountain on scooters could be the highlight of this trip yet the pretty poor condition of the road might make it a little difficult to enjoy the ride. Maybe bring ur own food and drinks if u dont want to spend too much money up...
We walked up from Gfell and had a nice Raclette and some Älplermakronen (noodles, potatoes and cheese). You must take some Apfelmus as a side. With a bottle of cider (Saft mit oder ohne Alkohol) it's just perfect. The one with alcohol contains natural moodlifters. That's allways a good choice and not as expensive as whine. Food ist not cheap, but everything has to be brought up the mountain and business during the week is low. I think it's fair. Food ist really good and hosts are friendly. Will be there again soon.
Loved my pitstop on top of the Hörnli. During this weekday of May, only half a dozen other guests. The menu is short, but I find this appropriate for such a location. Food was prepared immediately and quickly, portions are good and quality as well. Loved talking to the boss, who might have set views on politics and world news, but fun to talk to. Will definitely return this Summer.
The Waiter was mean and stressed my friend when he was Eating. The Food came very late and it was mid. We waited 30 Minutes. But the View Beautiful. It was so overpriced. 30$ for a Schnitzel and the portions were for little kids. The whole thing was like a Canteen.

We hiked up from Gfell ,about 50 minutes a nice comfortable walk although it is all up hill . Great views of the surrounding mountains. The Rösti was excellent Hus Rösti All self service but it works well.
This Restaurant ensures you good food, nice service and a very nice view. There’s no car acces which makes it really calm and enjoyable
