Since my last review, a few things have changed. The previous manager has left and the resteraunt is now managed again by the Hofers, and they have a new chef. They have an uncanny ability to employ the most amazing chefs and staff, as the...food is outstanding as always, and the bar staff are never still (either serving drinks and food, washing glasses or cleaning the bar area , and are a credit to the resteraunt. We tend to eat here most nights when we visit, whether that be an delicious full meal on NYE, the most succulent ribs with friends, or a fantastic thin crust pizza if it's just myself the wife. 3 of us went to this place in the first 2 nights of our stay. The place is very nice and was a walking distance from our hotel. It serves mostly traditional food, with some uniqe dishes, like the chestnut soup (recommended). The food and...service are very good. Deserts were not as good as the food. The apple strudel has room for improvements (almost no apples), and also the Ice libbe which was OK, but I had much better in other places.
Kennst du das tolle Gefühl, wenn man nach einem sonnigen und anstrengenden Skitag erschöpft eine einfache Currywurst isst? So etwas haben wir erwartet. Stattdessen haben wir wahnsinniges tolles Essen bekommen, das zudem auch noch super präsentiert wird. Für uns alle ein extrem gelungener Abend. Ab jetzt endet jeder Trip ins Zillertal im Wirtshäusl!

Bedienung war sehr, sehr nett. Super leckeres Essen. Der Braten war butterzart. Der Burger ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einfach super. Lediglich eine etwas kleine Portion bei den Nudeln und die Pommes hätten krosser sein können. Tolles Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen .
service was very, very nice. super delicious food. the frying was buttery. the burger is definitely recommended. Price-performance ratio simply super. only a little smaller part in the shares and the pommes could have been more cherry. we're coming back. in any case recommend .
Super leckeres Essen und sehr nette und aufmerksame Kellnerinnen. Das Essen wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Ich kann den warmen Ziegenkäse, sowie die Spinatknödel sehr empfehlen. Für mich mit Abstand das Beste Restaurant im Zillertal!
Nice, very local restaurant. You have many things for small children and very friendly staff. It is excellent if you leave the tourist rush and get an Austrian farewell

Das Essen war super lecker. Große Portionen. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war medium und super zart. Die Bedienung freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder :
