We also used the Hofkucherl for a company group dinner as it is located a 15-20 minute drive out into the countryside from our office in Feldkirchen. One of the key plus points is the building itself, a very characterful traditional Bavarian farm house with...pleasant beer garden that functions well as a restaurant. Other good points include the service levels, with the staff wearing traditional dress and the quality and quantity of the food. I was lucky to have the main roasted pork dish described below and it was very good. The negatives however are initially the location, as Forstinning is a rural location in the middle of nowhere. Simply sum up: cozy and pretty romantic place, excellent service, excellent food, regularly changing menu simply amazing!! We were here a couple of times and with the whole family. We love this place. We had the Ravioli,...Truffle Gnocchi and the Kaiserschmarren (we shared a part because it is big enough, although it tastes so good that you just don’t like to share; and can only recommend the stunning and very tasty food. Stuff is attentive, very friendly and they make you feel at home. Location is enchanting. Thanks, guys! We'll be back soon!
We had dinner here on the way to vacation. The food was fantastic and was served very quickly without giving up quality. My daughter especially noticed that it was great that they had a children's menu that was also a drawing page. The 300-year-old renovated property is a hit!!! The food was good to very good the ice cream was delicious. Only small downs were the potatoes with my daughters food, but this is a small point.
Very original from inside and outside. You feel very comfortable. The service is very friendly and attentive and has the right mix of joke and professionalism. The food was very good. The price performance ratio has been matched, but as a result the prices are higher, there is no room for any more error.
The place is just wonderful, beautiful. The food is fantastic, it is reinvented Bavarian cuisine. Absolutely nothing to say. The dessert was a dream. Of course it is more expensive than any other Bavarian restaurant, but with the quality of food you will find it with a great smile.
