Easy parking, with booking system for longer stays. Dog friendly (dog treats) and very clean facilities. Had a great breakfast and returned for lunch later in the month, which was also great. The staff we met, on both occasions, were young and outstandingly helpful and friendly, they really need a mention as it makes such a difference. Restores your faith that young people can be so positive and smiley! It would be great if more road side services took a leaf from the Hog and Hedge book!

Absolutely awful food and extortionately priced to boot. Not at all welcoming, we were ignored. Very limited menu, mainly consisting of what seemed to be microwaved and fried food. Sauce bottles haven't been cleaned in a very long time elderly looking sauce was congealed under the bottle top, so I dread to think what the kitchen is like. Our disabled son was told by the waitress to get his own drink from the fridge. Toilets are disgusting. We won't be back.

Called for breakfast this morning and the bacon was rock hard, not freshly cooked. The sausage seemed to have been out under a hot plate for hours, the beans tasted like they were last nights leftover chilli (with kidney beans in them) and the coffee was cold. They charged £16 for the pleasure of it. If you need to stop go to the Greggs at the fuel station to save disappointment! I won’t be calling again!!!!

We had been delayed in Newton Abbot and the cafe near Cheriton Bishop had just closed when we got there at 3pm. So we pushed on to Whiddon Down Services arriving at the Hog Hedge about 3.15 only to be told that we could have hot drinks and/or cake. All I wanted was coffee and a sandwich, toasted or not. Not very good for a service area on the busy A30. Réservez une table maintenant

I had the worst breakfast experience at this restaurant. The scrambled eggs had no flavor, the beans were burnt, the bacon was tough like cardboard, the sausage was decent, and the potatoes had a strange taste. It was ridiculously overpriced and didn't even come with a hot drink. I would recommend going to Greggs instead.

Very expensive for what you got One sausage a bit of bacon two cold poached eggs smallest pot of beans and a few chips the best bit was the toast didn’t come with a hot drink £32 for a breakfast and coffee each. I was worth about £12 for the both of them Restroom was just about useable Won’t go back

Excellent highly recommended Managed to get there before 12 so in time for breakfast Good and friendly service wonderful fresh and hot food all Inspite of being very busy Would definitely make it a point to stop off again on our way to Cornwall

We stopped with our young baby and most impressed with the baby changing facilities they even provide nappies if caught short. Food delicious and very fast, great stop off on the way down to Cornwall. Réservez une table maintenant

I stopped in for lunch on my way back from Cornwall. The menu wasn't very interesting, but the food was decent. I was disappointed to find out that they don't accept cash, so I won't be returning.

The restaurant was overpriced and overall terrible. We were hoping for a good breakfast, but instead received food that was completely inedible.
