Hog Shack Cook House

First time there today. 09/30/2023 If your a meat eater this is the place to go. Got there right at noon, so no one was there. I found the food really good and the cornbread was amazing. I even bought the mix. I had the Big Johnson so much for the price, ribs, pulled pork and brisket.Enough left over to take home for 2 more meals. I will definitely return and try something else. Staff are friendly and answered my questions. I also used to live in the south Louisiana and Texas and the food was better than some restaurants down south.

Very quick service and incredible food. Good portions for the price. I had brisket for the first time ever here and it was heavenly. So were the brussels sprouts. I had dinner here frequently when I was a kid and I'm surprised that the place has less traffic now because the food tastes even better than I remember.

Came here with a group of friends to try the ribs out. Thought it tasted okay, wasn’t a huge fan of how charcoal the rib was. Enjoyed the two side dishes though, the yam fries were good.Service was really slow, waited over 30minutes for our food and the server kept making mistakes with our tables order.

We found this place by fluke tonight while looking for a place to go for dinner on a date night and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, the service and the atmosphere was great! I think we found our new favourite spot to go and will definitely be back and will bring our friends here! Réservez une table maintenant

Food is good as usual. Nice family joint. Only down side we wish the older lady serving us could take the stick out of her. She looks like she hated her job and her service is bottom of the line... the bartender and the younger service were awesome

The Hogshack is very good. Barbecue. I'd highly recommend their chili, and their beans. The chicken is Okay, but the ribs, pork and brisket are excellent. I probably would have given them a higher rating, but I'm not a big fan of their cornbread.

Dino bones and fried catfish are Fantastic. The salt and pepper chicken wings are the best. Corn bread and all the sides are moist and delicious. The service is hit and miss but food is always good. Lots of different beers on tap.

Ordered ribs from here once and they were very tough and dry. I am not sure if that's the style but it was hard to finish. Wouldn't recommend at all. Réservez une table maintenant

Great food and large portions. Ordered the Monster Burger and was thoroughly satisfied.

This was my first time. If you like bbq, give this place a try. It’s worth it.
