The sushi is good, but they really make you unwilling to eat outside. There are two plastic tables outside the restaurant and if you want to eat there, it must be in a to-go bag. You should simply use all in the restaurant with paperboard and plastic containers. And put them in a plastic bag and let them open. Even the lady asked me to pay with an app and I said I could pay cash, then she said money, and looked at me as if I were from the space. But I ate outside and enjoyed my meal when I heard Mariachi music and the hatching of pots and pans.
100% recommend this place! Always fresh sushi, friendly staff, great prices and pleasant warm atmosphere. I recently opened new business across the street Uplifted Medical Aesthetics and i can tell you its too tempting not to go to Hoka Hoka every single day! For it only takes us to cross the street to get tasty fresh sushi! But we do go there at least twice a week!
Hoka Hoka Sushi had a great atmosphere and decor ... we ordered takeout and we're happy with the speed at which our food was ready, the food was great, fresh ingredients, very tasty and beyond our expectations ... we might have over ordered for two people but we were hungry and almost finished it all ... would recommend trying their dessert!!!
Great small sushi joint. Great happy hour menu! Drinks and most rolls are on the happy hour menu. The place isn't huge so seats fill up quick but orders come out quickly. Friendly staff and chefs. Defintely going back soon!Parking: Off street spots shared with a few other places. No problem during dinner hours.

Great food, probably the best sushi in the South Bay. Personally, I don't like them moving Dine-in orders/payments online, feels like Tech for Tech's wants, it doesn't improve the culinary experience.
The food is good and the price is not bad. BUT? Staff will try and make you leave before you are done, which I find extremly rude! We were there 30 mins and asked to leave.
Had to give a star. Not recommended. First and last time. Korean staff. Gristle in sashimi. Whoever buys and preps their fish doesn't know what they're doing.Food: 1/5

Food always delicious lots of rolls and the Sapporo is so cold it's perfection we go for happy hour and get 4 pieyof sushi with your roll
