We came for Mothers Day. I had booked online for 6 people and paid £30 deposit. When there my husband went up and ordered drinks, dinner and pudding and was not asked or reminded about the deposit. We realised later on in the evening and went back in there. We did get the £30 back but was told that they were under no obligation to refund it as it is non refundable! Such a shame the evening ended like this as we had all had a lovely time there and food was very good. Just a shame we were not prompted about the deposit, just be aware if booking online

Big get together here today. Food was decent and fairly quick service, our table was catered too fantastically. Staff are very accommodating and polite. I must say one young lady was excellent, came over to our table with colouring pens for the little ones despite being rushed off her feet. Then back over to help clean the highchair after she saw baby had made a bit of a mess. I was more than happy to do it myself but she insisted. So helpful. Rarely see staff go above and beyond these days, overall very impressed! Lovely Christmas lunch.

Previous meals have been lovely but unfortunately todays meal was cold. When reported to waitress the chef came to our table was very nice. We explained our food was cold. He checked food’s temperatures said was fine but what he should have checked was the food he had plated up possibly left sitting too long or maybe on a cold plate. We were offered more food money back but we had a voucher regardless of that didn’t want any money just wanted to give helpful info that food was in fact cold. Sorry but it’s true.

Visit Holly Blue every Tuesday evening to play with our Ukulele group. Had an excellent meal there on Tuesday 5th December before our Christmas get together. Excellent service provided by Skye and Aimee.

This is a great venue for our Ukulele group. It has ample seating a good menu and bar. Also a large car park.
