Had an excellent lunch, good sized portions well presented, price was very good the two ladies behind the jump where a credit to the pub. Parking is on the road so get there early, near the top of my pubs to return to list

very cozy pub. we had lunch after a walk in ashdown forest. fish cakes were a bit of hard potato and lack oomph, which is why only 4 stars. red mullet was beautiful and service was great.

perfect afternoon with family and amazing beer (divine). . did not try to eat because the place was fully booked.
