Anchor Inn - Réservation de table

We spent a night at The Anchor Inn as we were attending a wedding nearby. It’s a lovely, old pub with lots of character. Our room was clean and spacious if a little stuffy, but it was an incredibly hot weekend so that was to be expected. Breakfast service wasn’t great; we had to prompt a waiter to ask what the options were and he asked whether a full English would be okay. It was seemingly the only option, although we were all happy to have it and it was lovely when it arrived. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon after a walk in the area. I ordered a pint of lemonade and a packet of crisps and was charged £10.80! I paid by contactless before I had realised how expensive this was and had a chance to question it. The pub is pretty and has a nice garden, but not worth the prices.

Ifound the food very good and they change the menu regularly which I like The only problem is that all the staff look about 16 years old and don’t really know what their doing It would be nice if they had at least one older person to take charge Réservez une table maintenant
