We have been coming to the holly bush for 30 years as a family but sadly we will not be returning. We used to enjoy popping in on a Friday for a nice end of week treat but our recent experience ended up being a little stressful. No knives and forks, the sauces almost non existent, And we had to ask for everything; serviettes and knives and forks again. Waiting staff who simply didn’t have a clue about the ordering process. Neither did they seem to understand how to provide a good service. Food quality was poor and dishes lacked the usual volumes we were used to. Hadn't been to the HollyBush for some years , we decided it was time for a return , we went mid week for a late sitting (9pm) which meant the restaurant was quiet , the service was very efficient and served with a smile from the young waitress Having not been for a while , and not having any issues previously we hoped for the same level of quality food that we had been used to , and we certainly were not disappointed from the starters through to main course , the menu is varied and all at a reasonable price ,our food was served quickly piping hot and all seemed freshly made and compliments to the chef for the quality I would still recommend the Holly Bush 100% [hidden link]

I have no complaints about the restaurant other than the discovery that tips are not kept by the staff, but rather taken by management. This practice should not be allowed. Tips and gratuities are meant for the hardworking staff who provided the service, not for the management or owners. Always remember to ask the waiters or waitresses if the tip goes directly to them before leaving a gratuity.

Our family used to love this restaurant for special occasions, but after our recent experience, we won't be returning. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, only to have our rice and chips go cold while waiting for our mains. Others at the restaurant had already finished eating by the time our meals finally arrived. There were constant complaints from other customers as well. It's such a shame. Réservez une table maintenant

Waited for over 40 minutes for our meals, Did not get everything I asked for. Had a small amount of onion in rice dish when I specifically asked for no onions. Plate was cold. Mixture of hot and cold food on plate. waitress was dismissive to the point of being rude. Will never go to the Hollybush again.

Been here tonight for the first time in approx 5 years... Food was delicious, the chilli cheese naan was amazing!! The mixed grill was plentiful and the curry was thick and tasty! The front of house staff were also friendly and very welcoming will definitely be back for a return visit very soon.

I returned to this restaurant for the first time since a negative experience just after lockdown, and I am so glad I did. The food and staff were amazing, and I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch at the great price they are offering.

Shame we use this place for years, the food gone down hill for while now gave it another chance, curry was the worst ever, chicken still good Breads terrible last time will use now as there plenty of choose in holbrooks Réservez une table maintenant

Ordering food here since moved to Coventry, the best curry around. Love it. Favorite meal chicken tikka masala peshwari naan

Just finished a meal . Excellent curry service spot on .. would definitely recommend. Staff attentive and helpful
