After visiting Kew Gardens, we stopped at this cafe which had a cozy fire and a great selection of cakes. The prices for tea and cake were very reasonable, and although most customers were sitting outside, it was nice and quiet inside. There was always a queue, indicating its popularity. My only complaint was that many of the cakes were vegan, which I find to be a bit bland. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options for more variety.
Absolutely enjoyed my visit, lovely friendly staff, and so nice that l can get a coffee for £2.45,.Was asked by lovely lady about 'loyalty card ' , and she explained rewards,alas l explained due to leave UK for a while, but will certainly seek it out on my return ,.Absolute gem and refreshing to know extremely good value and not taking advantage.Thank you and Kind Regards.
Really charmingly original place with views of the Thames from the terrace. Obviously run by people that really care about what they’re doing the dishes are vegetarian and vegan super tasty and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Decorated in a quirky eclectic style that suits the building and its location perfectly. I’ll be back for lunch or few very soon!
We have always loved visiting Hollyhock cafe in the past but last week found the prices have gone up understandable) but the quantity of rocket in a flatbread was 3 leaves , not acceptable or carrot cake much smaller slice than b4 at higher cost. Please at least present fairness in increased prices. Saddened customer. Réservez une table maintenant
This is a delightful cafe would absolutely go again. The terrace view is beautiful, the coffee is delicious and they have amazing vegan options on cakes and lunch food. The overall vibe is very quaint and quirky and calming. Such a lovely lovely cafe. One of the nicest cafes I have been so in a long time
I brought friends here for lunch. I had a vegan tart butternut squash with apricot chutney or something similar and a bowl of mixed side salads. The quality was excellent but it is expensive as my meal came to nearly £15. The views over the Thames are amazing and the surrounding gardens are lovely.
I absolutely love the location of this restaurant. I recently tried their macaroni and cheese, which was incredibly delicious, and also enjoyed a superb cappuccino. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning whenever I am in Richmond.
Very tasteless cakes, didn’t like coffee either. We ordered apple pie and caramel shortbread for dessert and latte mocchiato for drink. I was very dissatisfied with my choice. I think this place is overrated. Réservez une table maintenant
Beautiful location. Unpleasant noise coming from staff clashing and banging things behind the counter. It is recommended to stay away until they hire more considerate employees.
