We have been to Holy Basil on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. This restaurant is a winner in so many ways. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. Nothing is to much trouble, they cater for food allergies and intolerances for which I am very grateful.The service is fantastic, the staff all seem to enjoy working there and that always says something about a place. I went to Holy Basil with a friend last night, your staff were friendly and all appeared to love their work place with genuine smiles. But the food..... You have taken Thai food to the next level, it was absolutely delicious and the best I have had in Melbourne. We ordered 3 courses and every mouthful was full of flavour and fresh. I loved it and will be back many many times. Thank you for a great experience!
We went Saturday night with friends. We had a wonderul meal and didn't realise until we had finished it was vegetarian and vegan. Our Entree, mains and dessert were equally sesantional! The restaurant decor was beautiful. The service was excellent plus it was wonderful to meet and talk with Duncan. We will be going back again and would recommend for anyone to go. I give it 5 Stars!
On a kid free night we decided to go out for a burger but the burger joint was closed, it must of been fate as we found the Holy Basil Thai restaurant and the food was impeccable! For such big meat eaters we were bit apprehensive but this place did not disappoint, they really know what they are doing and the staff and owners were super awesome and friendly! Have been to Holy Basil three times and absolutely l loved it every time. The first with a big group, and the other times at the chef's table. Lovely staff, delicious food (with incredible vegetarian dishes and all sustainable seafood, yay! and a beautiful space (the puppets are particularly gorgeous . Will be back (again .
Best Thai place--hands down. It has its own signature flavour and it is very vegan-aware. Extremely impressed with the eco-friendly takeaway packaging--the containers are compostable! Even just for this reason I'll probably never touch my local Chinese again, which uses way too much plastic.
Spectacular! What a sensational place to eat, drink share any occasion with friends family. The menu is full of a delicious range the drinks menu is equally as yummy. Can't recommend this highly enough. Hands down the best and cleanest Thai food my parter I have ever had worldwide!
We went on a Friday night and lived the atmosphere. A REAL restaurants without loud music so you can talk to your companion- the food was stunning- absolutely delicious and healthy. We are very fortunate to have such a high quality restaurant in Croydon. Highly recommend you go. Réservez une table maintenant
