We planned this visit to the wooden beetle as a weekly closing. The service was courteous and also the menu had regional subtleties to offer like the delicious peasant. Not only did the food convince, but also the hygiene concept regarding Corona was consistently enforced without feeling restricted or uncomfortable as a guest. Much more than in safe hands! An absolute recommendation and we definitely come back

We stayed almost a week in the Alpenresidenz Buchenhöhe and every evening in the wooden beetle. 5 stars are too little. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food is delicious. The wooden beetle is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back next year. Greetings Family Ernst from Dresden

After enjoying the excellent duck already in 2019, we did not take the way to the beech height this year. The duck was excellent, the service top and we booked 2 dates again. I definitely recommend a place reservation, the demand is great.

Very nice staff. Great ambience. Very cozy. We stayed in our one-week holiday equal to 2 x there. Had a red cabbage and potato dumplings on both days It was very tasty and plentiful.

Top food, very nice location with mountain view. Price performance is right here. Applestrudel and beetles are highly recommended! Also the quality of the meat.
