We finally have gourmet food in Lorton! We have frequented this restaurant in the evenings and enjoyed Steak Night, Taco Night, Sunday Dinner specials, and the regular menu. Every dish tastes fantastic. Today, we decided to try their brunch and it was amazing. There were so many delicious options to choose from. We ended up ordering the lemon ricotta donut holes, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken biscuit. All three dishes looked wonderful and tasted even better. The mini plates are delicious and perfect for sharing between two people, and the sides are also excellent. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Lorton. Chef Perry is fantastic.
What an awesome find as we are in Lorton VA overnight awaiting the boarding of the Auto Train to Florida!! My husband and I eat out very often and in over 30 years occasionally we come across a dining experience like this! I like to call it a dining experience for your taste buds!! What I mean by that is so often your hungry, go out to eat and you leave not hungry. But every so often you enjoy, and I mean truly enjoy, every bite. A dining experience for your taste buds!! Everything we ordered was excellent, presentation and taste. Also, our waitress, Gloria was the best. So sweet and very attentive! She completed our experience!
Stop here for lunch after driving around. It was very empty only one other group was there. We ordered wings as a appetizer and ended up getting and extra order of wings cause of a mix up. Note the jerk wings are not spicy they are fairly mildly seasoned. They were accommodating since I wanted a bunless burger and a side salad instead of fries. All in all everything was pretty good
This was my first time at Hometown Grill Bar. My wife and I were celebrating our 37th anniversary, so we decided to try this restaurant. Dennis, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. I ordered the 8oz Creekstone Farms Filet Diane, while my wife had the blackened Atlantic salmon, followed by calamari fritto misto. The dishes were delicious.

Amazing!!! Paired an old fashioned with their short ribs and it was perfect. The short rib was thick and tender and had perfect flavor and balance withe the root vegetables and mashed potatoes. Perfect proportions to be able to balance each bite. Old fashioned was just right with Billit and peach and walnut bitters. We will come back!
This was my fourth visit to Hometown Grill and Bar, and our server Dennis recommended the cod and crabmeat topping for our fish. It was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be returning many more times.

The food was good but, served missing the sauces. I had to ask twice. By then, my food was cold. The fries are just meh. Squash salad had very little squash.
