Great breakfast sandwich selections and bakery items. Honey Dew is a convenient place because it is the nearest and only place for coffee and baked goods and sandwiches north of Central Square East Boston. Situated on the corner of Meridian Street and Falcon Street at the Mobil Gas Station near the bridge into Chelsea, Honey Dew is a neighbourhood fixture that locals use. I am giving 3 stars because the convenient store it is situated in is small and getting to the counter is a drag because the convenience store's checkout bottlenecks the entrance. Also Honey Dew only has flavour shots no flavoured roasted coffees and their prices are high. If there was a 7-11 at my end of Meridian that is where I would go. Only when the bridge is up, when the temperature is near freezing and I need to keep warm, or my complex has no water and I can't make coffee will I go to Honey Dew. I don't make great money. Honew Dew is geared to people with good steady paying jobs (people who can afford cars). When it isn't arctic I patiently wait for a bus to Maverick for 7-11 where coffee is less than 2-4 dollars and I can make more my way.
