Good bar to hear a good rock band. But, not a place that serves anf real dinner or lunch food; just bar food like hot dogs, pretzels, and bar pizza. It seems like mostly local and gets crowded on weekend. It's hard to get a?seat at the bar. And, it is hard to get the bartenders to serve you if you do not have an open tab at the bar which Hoovers apparenyly automatically sets up a built-in 20% tip into each open bar table bill. This is likely why those who do not have an open table seem to be treated like orphans.
That's the only bar I plan to visit. I appreciate that it's quiet enough for me to hear the people next to me, yet lively enough to feel like I've actually gone out instead of just drinking at home. The staff is excellent, and the regulars are friendly. I highly recommend it!
not the place where I know I grew up with the same owners. hoovers expands to a younger amount and the locals. still a good place good people great barkeepers. good prices and always have someone to speak gives darts music. entertainment. and eat the bar.
The atmosphere was a lot of fun, and having dart boards added a great touch to the experience. Although the bar service was a bit slower due to the crowd, the welcoming hospitality more than made up for it. I would definitely visit again!

Best bar around. Quick service, decent prices! Good basic beers, liquors, and cocktails! Interesting set of rotating craft beers too. Honestly I don’t know why people go into Morris town when Hoover’s is right here.

Great drinks, great price on these drinks, and said drinks are made right. You also have some live entertainment and darts (not at the same time). Large environment and total quantity.
This bar has a gritty, cool vibe that's perfect for lifting your spirits. It's the best hidden gem I've ever found, giving even the most cliched rom-coms a run for their money.

This is a fantastic dive bar with a really nice setup. I went there for drinks and the music, and I had a pretty good time. The service was excellent!
