The kitchen staff touches each others private areas as they make your food. They have a toilet in the kitchen where they poop with the door open. Disgusting, I saw a chef rubbing someone’s burger patty with his hand he had just put down his pants. Do not eat here. I saw the bartender go and stick her hand down a toilet that had a whole roll of toilet paper in there no glove and then she went to make a drink. Why do you have bartenders cleaning the bathroom.Also if you have your kid’s birthday here know that most of the waitresses are all drugged up. If one of these girls ODed in the bathroom that could traumatize a child.(literally happened when I worked at Starbucks)This place is a lot wors...
I 'm so torn with this review. During COVID-19 I ordered religiously from this place every order was over $100 tried everything on the menu. Decided one night to go in and have a sit-down dinner. I have to say it was more wannabe hipster vibe vs a gritty Gastropub. The food was confusing. The cocktails were eh. Very unimpressed to say the least. However!!! The live entertainment was legit! Would go back just for the musical talent! They also tried to rectify the cocktail, but it just doesn 't right when you have to basically make it yourself.
My daughter’s College music professor Mr. Moreale was performing on his trumpet with a few other very talented musicians at the Hop Shoppe on Saturday night. We did not make a reservation but were seated front row and center, ordered some yummy drinks and appetizers and enjoyed the entertainment very much. We had an amazing time and will watch out for future performances. The waitresses, were exceptionally nice also.
We love the place. However, there is no wine on happy hour menu. Margaritas say they are $7..when you get the bill it says $9. Because any flavor is extra, this is not on menu. And glasses are always dirty. They need a new bar, it's really awkward to eat on. And seat are not comfortable. But, food is great. And there is a comfortable atmosphere.

Was told good things about this place, so I went in; they didn’t have what my friends and I wanted until the third or fourth choice. When they finally served us, it was in a medicine cup; I was thoroughly disappointed, extremely distraught, and cried when they sent me the bill. Also a guy in a fedora hit on me
Food was bland. This was our 2nd time trying the place. We really wanted to like the food because of the whole atmosphere but we'll go elsewhere to eat! Love the whole idea just can't execute fully.
Nice place that offers lots of entertainment. Particularly popular is the trivial quiz evening, which offers discounts on drinks and shots as prizes. Good beers but also a decent choice of wines.
One of my favorite pub/bars on Staten Island! Great performances, kind staff good food. Always a good time. Love when dj girl on rocks plays

Don't waste your time just go to craft house. WAAy better and they always have the beers you ask for.
