I visited the stall in southbank a past back and can still remember the aromen to today. the moong daal dosas are from this world crispy yet soft and the taste is so unique. the chutneys that come on the side are a good supplement and make the meal complete. they get crispy, they get sweet love the combination of textures and aromas. I really have to have a dosa back and back!
we ordered the dosa and it was so tasteful and crispy. the outer shell was a perfect compliment for filling. we also ordered the Chai drink that made us feel, we would be india, it was definitiw strongly seasoned, but we loved it. we will definitely come back to try the other things on the menu
This place turns out great food and a lovely welcome. Your met with a lovely smile and friendly welcome and that is good sign of things to come. The food is cooked fresh so don't moan if your waiting, it's well worth it. Great flavours...and a satisfying full tummy every time. Thank you
We had a mix and match from here and the big V. This was the better. Two take away meals for £9.50 a bargain. The big V should take note of the use of ingredients as adding a little pomegranate really lifted the meal. Both meals were really different Andi would go back here tomorrow. This is a really good option at Borough market You get a masala dosa with a small salad and some crispy chickpea noodles for only 5 pounds, and it is both filling and really good! Specify that you are vegan, because their yogurt sauce isn't!
I just had the Moong dal dosa for breakfast. It was the best breakfast £6 could buy me. It's spicey and nurturing food. Definately worth a visit if you're visiting Borough Market. :
good value Indian food. a very good option on borough market. the dosas are quite thick, but taste great. Vegan options are clearly marked and plentiful.
