Oh my - what a great place for lunch on the mountain. Totally traditional all round. Our food was all scrummy and my Schnitzel with potato salad was the best of our holiday. The mountain trout, the fried chicken salad and the Spetzle were also great choices, accompanied by local white wine recommended by our delightful waitress in a pretty Austrian outfit. The Kaisershmarrn was also the best we had during our holiday - freshly cooked and served with apple purée. Following a delicious digestif of hazelnut schnapps we retired outside to comfy deckchairs and cosy blankets for a quick snooze in the sun before heading off home down the piste. Highly recommend.
After a challenging uphill path starting from the highest station of San johan in thyrol, we took refuge in this hutte and with pleasures I found that the dishes were of level.alto I tasted a good freesch mushroom soup and a strudel certainly should be evaluated on several dishes but for the environment, service and prini tastes deserves the maximum. I'll be back.
Total rip off dont go1 Was charged 6.40 Euro for 2 glasses of tapwater. When challenged both the manager and ownerwere VERY VERY aggressive and told me not to come back (as if that was going to happen) as I was typical tourist who couldnt speaak German. Dont go unless you are an oligarch or a banker and love being rippedoff
the horn hut was once the absolute highlight of the huts badhin. Unfortunately, a high-level flight has also occurred during the renovation. magnum champagner guests have preferred to all others. everyone wants to earn, but not for the price of original cozyness, pity, we were a lot there earlier

We ate lunch here in the summer while hiking. Got lost a bit while trying to find it, but well worth it. How great to find such excellent food atop a mountain. I could have spent the afternoon just hanging there. Highly recommend.
The service was perfect, the Hornköpfl soup was to die for, so tasty. Every dish we had was excellent, I would recommend the Hörnkopflhutte to anyone looking or a super mountain meal hideaway.
