As soon as we walked into the pub we were looked after and made to feel welcome. My parents are both disabled and we were given space to put the mobility aids. The staff were courteous and efficient. The food was delicious. There were plenty of options for a pescatarian too usually on a Sunday places only offer fish and chips as a fish option! My Dad had the sea bass which he thoroughly enjoyed. The roasts were excellent, a great choice of veg and extra gravy was brought out as soon as we requested it. It can be really hard to go out with our parents complex needs (dementia and Parkinson’s) but this is definitely somewhere we all felt included and we definitely would visit again.

We went for some food and drinks with friends. It’s a nice place to go and have drinks, but considering what they charge for food, the quality isn’t there! Ordered a steak, as other two items I wanted they didn’t have. The peas were nuked, completely inedible. The steak was small (it still costs £17) you pay extra for sauce £3.50, for £20 I expect a good piece of meat. It was gristly, flavourless, and totally underwhelming. If you don’t have the quality there, bring your prices down to match it, it’s not fair to pay so much and be given such average food. Wouldn’t eat here again.

After driving around looking for a pub that is open mid afternoon on a Saturday, Mum I were delighted to find this one. While we waited for our meals, we were able to entertain ourselves with box quizzes which made a pleasant change, The photos other visuals around the pub made it very interesting. The food we had was good from what i can remember. We certainly weren't bad mouthing the place. I would consider coming to this pub again as it is a short distance from my mothers home in Frome.

We stayed at the hotel for a family event, and it was lovely. Our room was spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the evening we arrived, the kitchen was closed, but breakfast was freshly cooked, and very tasty. Their advertising says best pub for smiles, and it certainly is. Polite, friendly and cheerful staff, a credit to themselves. We would definitely stay here again.

Have to say the we have visited this pub a few times, even during Covid (when allowed). Staff and food have always lived up to our expectations. Sadly tonight we were very disappointed with our service. Food was good but the service was very lacking...

The landlady sat all afternoon drinking red wine. When a customer was totally legless I witnessed the the landlady being verbally abusive to the poor lady that was trying to help the drunk lady she was angry and aggressive I witnessed her swearing...

Lovely little find! Friendly staff. Great food at a decent price, drinks were lovely. Outside area was cute to sit in with comfy chairs. Pub dog walking around which was nice. We would recommend!

Great food and general vibe was spot on, unexpected stay but outlived expectations. Even if someone is travelling nearby and time permits drop in for a meal great food
