We didn’t have much opportunity to discuss our concerns with the waiter, as he kept insisting we leave after nearly two hours. He even attempted to cancel our last dessert order, but we had to insist on keeping it. We politely suggested that the restaurant should consider extending their dining times by 15-20 minutes for larger groups, but the waiter simply cited restaurant policy and seemed uninterested.
To add to our frustration, he didn’t communicate with us in French. Overall, we won't be returning; there are many better dining options available!
First time here a couple of days ago and it was alright. I've had better korean bbq than this one. Variety of food could be better, I couldn't find anything noodles or fried rice on the menu. Just white ?. Service was good, no negatives there. Just know that you only have a max. of 2hrs to order and be done eating from the time you get seated. I most likely won't be back here again but it was good. And I'll recommend their mango ice cream to anyone that goes there. The best I've had anywhere that's all you can eat.
Disappointed.$34 per person in the evening during the week. Only 2 types of beef cut extremely thin. The sushi is not worse but we go to the BBQ for the meat above all. At least, add the beef tongue to the evening menu during the week.Update: back again last night and indeed, menu was improved and taste good. Changed to 4 stars, 5 if the rices were less dry and have more flavor.
Food is great. The idea of bbqing and sushi is really nice.When checking the price, take care when looking online that there are 2 Hoshi's. The website of the one on the West Island only has a Facebook page. The other on St Jerome has a regular website. Prices are different though.

I had diarrhea after eating. The fried chicken thighs were undercooked and had traces of blood inside. There are two other buffet restaurants within a mile that are much better than this one.
I was very disappointed with my experience. The meat tasted old and had an overpowering flavor that lingered long after the meal. The sushi was quite basic and dry as well.
Food is okay for the price, not bad. Service and atmosphere are standard. May or may not be going back. Overall okay.
It’s a lovely restaurant with great beef and exceptionally friendly staff. I will definitely be returning!
