I have been going to Hot Chicken Mama since they opened 2 years ago or so and every time I go I notice the quality and consistency diminishes.The last few times I have gone the breading is almost black and it tastes like the fry oil hasn't been changed in months. Also, they used to at least try to put a piece of chicken on the bun that was larger then the bun itself. Sometimes you'd get lucky and get two pieces on one sandwich but my last visit the chicken was the thickness of two hockey pucks and dry and smaller than the bun.The fries are usually pretty good, the mac and cheese is ok but could have more flavor and the lemonades are top notch.Overall, the place is decent and I will still try...
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The first problem I encountered was discovering a fly in my lemonade. I ordered a sandwich along with a few other items, but the food was excessively salty, thanks to an overwhelming amount of spices and broth. It felt like they used low-quality ingredients, which really affected the flavor of the dishes. The mac and cheese was bland and had no discernible taste, while the water was more flavorful. Although the staff were friendly, the overall quality of the food fell short. In the end, I spent nearly $50 for what was probably the worst meal I’ve ever had on Long Island.
I've only eaten at this restaurant twice since it's a bit far from my home, but they truly serve outstanding chicken dishes. Unfortunately, on my last visit, the chicken was slightly tough and dry; however, I'm willing to overlook this and hope for a better experience next time. The wait times have improved compared to when they first opened, so now is a great time to check out their food. I especially like their side dishes. I found the lemonade a bit too sweet for my taste, but those who enjoy sweeter drinks will likely love it. The restaurant often partners with other establishments to keep their menu interesting and fresh.
Decent chicken sandwich place .Closer than a 3.5 than a 4 but google doesn’t allow half stars.The chicken sandwich is good but it lacked a kick in umami(savoriness). But still good I would give it a 4/5 . The sides is where my disappointment lies. The color is just purple slaw I wish it had carrot and other ingredients other Cole slaw had . It was one dimensional but not bad.The fries we received were very over-seasoned, again not bad but lacked a crunch and savoriness to them .Overall not a bad place. If you wanna try it out deff get the chicken sandwich but skip cole slaw and ask for light seasoning on your fries.

I've only been here twice because it is a fairly long drive from me, but it is a very good chicken place. Sadly the last time I went my chicken was a little tough and dry but I can excuse it and hope the next time it'll be a little more tender. The linesaren't as insane as when they first opened so now has been a great time to go and get some chicken. I'm a big fan of theirbrussels. I found their lemonade too sweet for my taste, but if you like sweet I'm sure you will appreciate it. They do a lot ofcollabs with other restaurants which keeps their menu fresh and fun.
The restaurant’s name immediately caught our attention and encouraged us to try it. The Homestyle chicken was tasty and juicy, though the color raised some questions, perhaps because of the oil used. Portions were generous, and the purple slaw on top was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the fries were soggy, likely from being packed for delivery and losing their crispness. Overall, the meal was enjoyable but would have been better with crispy fries.
I am a regular customer here and everything has always been good but last night was the complete opposite. The Mac and cheese had a weird green tint and wasn?t edible. The chicken in the sandwich was burnt. Had to throw it all out, very disappointed.
Breading from the chicken tenders and sandwich all fell off. Chicken has no flavor and its just seasoned with spicyness. Fries arent evenly seasoned, bland , and soggy . Might be the most disappointing food that ive had on this app

First time, service was good, it was a bit pricey but the chicken was perfectly cook and juicy. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I didn’t taste any salt in the chicken it was just a bunch of spicy dry rub with no taste,
