Hot Wok Bistro offers delicious food at a fantastic price! It’s been a long time since I had to use my So Good card. My fiancé tried the Honey Nut War from the menu, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly, and I noticed our waitress was so kind and helpful, especially when a child struggled to decide what to order. If I lived in San Mateo, this would definitely be my go-to spot, but for now, it’s a place I’ll visit whenever I’m in town. I hope to return soon!
Delicious food and at such a great price! It has been so long since I've had tofu Chow mein this good. My fiance got the honey walnut shrimp and it was delicious. Staff was so friendly and I saw our waitress being so kind and helpful to the table overthat had a child struggling to choose what to order. If I lived in San Mateo this would definitely be my go-to but for now itwill just have to be a place I visit when I'm in town. I hope to return soon!
Not a bad place but not very good either. Really disappointed to get fried rice to split with another with only 5 little shrimp in it. Its pathetic when you think you can get a 5lb bag of rice and 1/4lb of fresh shrimp for the same price. Also very skimpyon the orange chicken sauce. chicken is more like fluffy cakey corn dog batter than a crunchy corn starch batter. Staff verynice and food comes quick.
It's rare to find places like Hot Wok Bistro. The food is always fresh, quick, and flavorful. We make it a point to stop by at least once a month when we're in Hayward for lunch or dinner. We absolutely love it. They consistently prepare the dishes exactly how we like them. This place is truly a hidden gem! Réservez une table maintenant

We are in the restaurant and also think that the Google description as a ?trendy place with contemporary styling? is quite the stretch! It?s a local spot, with nice people running it but a bit gritty look and feel.

The food at Hot Wok Bistro is outstanding, and the service is superb. We visited as a group of eight, and the experience was fantastic. I wish I had more photos of the delicious dishes, but here’s a picture of the potstickers. They’re freshly made and absolutely delicious.
Food is pretty good, great welcoming and service. If you're very hungry, no worries, the portions are huge. The only thing I didn't feel like it was super fresh, was the tofu. It had a particular rancid flavor. Overall good price! Réservez une table maintenant
