Hotel Bären Suhr

We had high expectations due to some good reviews but sadly were really disappointed with out meal. The only really positve thing was the starter which was delicious. I had fish, which was ok but it was served with a variety of salads that just didn't go together. Even the most adventurous cook wouldn't want to be eating greek salad, curried corn, cous cous and a tropical coleslaw with coconut all at the same time. I'm sure each could be perfectly acceptable served individually but to combine them all on one plate is horrendous! Even the panierte schnitzel and chips weren't great. We won't be going back

Nachtessen mit Freunden ist als Gute Verpflegung zu bezeichnen. Spätzle nicht besonders schmackhaft und das Fleisch von unter mittelmässiger Qualität. Jeder musste etwas vom Stück abschneiden. Die Pilzsauce hingegen war hervorragend und hat das Fleisch gut abgedeckt. Da ist natürlich der Metzger mitverantwortlich.Fazit - im Bären war es schon besser.

Endroit soigné mais les prix des mets correspondent à Gault Millau 14 points. Malheureusement service manquait d'attention (se resservir de vin, demander si tout en ordre). Un problème est le temps pour être servi. Il faut être très patient mais les mets sont par contre excellents

Das Essen war einfach supper. Ein Geschmakserlebniss vom feinsten.Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und ladet ein zum verweilen.Die Bedienung, der Service versteht etwas vom Job und als Gast fühlt man sich einfach gut aufgehoben.Ein Besuch ist zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

We got a nice table even the restaurant was full. We asked on phone, to serve us with a nice table, not in the middle and they served along ours wishes. Nice Winecrad. Good athomsphere and delicouses food.
