Sunday trip to the Mosel. The visit of the planned rehabilitation clinic for my husband on the Kueser Plateu stood. And a trip to the Moselle is really better than cleaning windows at home. We caught the sale Sunday. We avoid these events successfully. Gastronomy of course excluded. After the clinic on the Kueser side we crossed the Mosel Bridge to Bernkastel on foot. I had a first tonight, it is the first time in any proper sit down restaurant that I have been to anywhere in the world that does not have a dessert menu! This is the land of the Apfel strudel and they can't even do that or provide some ice cream? And they don't take credit cards, cash only, but most places here do not take cards. Other than that our only course was very good and the young lady was very friendly and chatty and the service was excellent and what we had was good value. We went to Da Marco for pudding and more wine!
