One of our regular haunts, lunch stop following a ride up from near Roses, through the wonderful mountains. The food has maintained the same standard over the years although the menu has been slightly changed I think. Well cooked, with some Catalan dishes, and some typically French. Service was friendly and efficient and the room was mostly locals. House wine was also superb, both in quality and value. Helpful hint- you wouldn't necessarily choose this hotel dining room from the outside, but give it a try, you shouldn't be disappointed.
A delicious and generously portioned meal ( chosen from the menu du Terroir) for 2 people accompanied by a bottle of the decent quality house wine (riose in this case) was just over 40 euro. In my experience this currently represents very good value for money in France. The main course of seabass with a chorizo crumble was absolutely perfectly cooked as were the accompanying dauphinoise potatoes. All served with a welcoming smile. I will definitely return.
The property has a beautiful location and a beautiful façade, I would say. I think it is its only positive point. I let myself take it, when my wife, more intuitive, favoured a modest nearby brewery. We have been poorly lunched, badly installed on a narrow table (nearly bistro, in no case a restaurant "who wants to go back to it)", badly served by a duo of bad extras threatened by the imminent effects of a powerful laxative. more than disappointed.
I think that for the boarders it is good, because it changes menu every day.For the people passing it is less good, because of the chef of the kitchen, it does not crowd on the decor of the plate (entrance, dish, same decor) when in his kitchen, lack of seasoning, cooking, we ask him rosé, it goes out too cooked. The staff in the room is very pro.I will not hold this address.

Très agréable restaurant au centre d'Amélie-les-Bains. Cuisine catalane typique et de très haute qualité, faite maison. Service très amical et attentionné. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Vous ne serez pas déçu, vous pouvez franchir le seuil en toute confiance. Attention, il est prudent de réserver car ce restaurant semble très apprécié.
we are curists and we went there for the Mother's Day.The welcome was nice, single menu has 25 euros, the meal was very long, a lot of waiting between the dishes the magret was too cooked and warm damage!!!! we were with friends and were disappointed ."chef you have to get back" because the customers will not return again
Le personnel très sympathique. Le menu à 14 € est très correct. Petit bémol pour nous ce jour-là, une grande table de curistes plutôt bruyante, mais les propriétaires n'y peuvent rien autant que je suppose, ce sont eux qui les font vivre dans l'année.
Nous sommes venus manger dimanche soir, et avons apprécié un repas correct à un prix raisonnable. Le personnel est à l'écoute et agréable.
