the lion d’or recommends "carpes frites à discretion": carp (free of bones) with pommes frites and two homemade sauces, as much as you like! - first a small salad and then homemade milles feuilles (cream slices with celestials.) to this we enjoyed a wee out of the jura (also this is what we should not taste.) you can choose between the caffe (hospital) and the "salle à manger" (hospital.) the division of work was given: the chef in the kitchen - the chefin at the front. our neighbours have chosen cheval (pferdesteak) and were obviously also satisfied. in the mornings there is a menu at a reasonable price. we're coming back.
Locally known as they also raise and sell horses (also rent them), the food is very good for this type of place. They are known for their "Friture of carp", we liked it but was not a show stopper. What was a show stopper and will make us come back whenever we are in the region is the desert "Milles-Feuilles", totally homemade. Only one word, awesome.Everything revolves around horses, so decor is full with photos, paintings and status of horses. The local lady who runs the place came to the Jura 20 years ago and never went back. I understand how anyone can love this region.You will never be stressed or hurried here, enjoy.
can only join the commentary, as we took our dinner at the lion d’or when we finished our Reka-Ferien in montfaucon. we also asses the specificity of carp, and so much of it wants to man. the 2 homemade sauces taste great. these are garlic and tartarealso a horse steak we had. we also enjoyed a jurassian red wine. it is too easy for our taste. the white wine, on the other hand, is very fine.The service was very friendly.
Au cours d'une marche dans les Franches Montagnes, nous avons fait halte dans ce restaurant est avons mangé un excellent menu du jour. Nous reviendrons certainement pour essayer la friture de filets de carpes. L'accueil est très sympathique. À mentionner : pour les cavaliers, possibilité de manger en terrasse avec les chevaux à côté.

.and the price is true. we have once eaten the carp described here, the second time a steak de cheval. the portions are lush and well cooked - the meat was exactly as fried as desired. also the service was very friendly. a restaurant without a snuck, where the food is still in the foreground.
excellente friture de carpes, merveilleux mille-feuilles maison avec son coulis de framboises,accueil sympathique, tout est réuni pour passer de bons moments entre amis ou en couple.et à proximité vous pourrez faire de l'équitation, de la randonnée ou du ski de fond ou raquettes en hiver
Nous avons mangé le menu classique Salade-friture de carpes-millefeuilles, tout simplement excellent avec attention un millefeuille maison! Le personnel et le patron sont adorables, bref j'y retourne pour goûter le reste de la carte!
the card is not very large but the foods are excellent. especially the horse court was the hammer. nice service and there are fine local honey to buy.
