We had dinner at the hotel after traveling from Vancouver, Canada. We had booked in advance which was good thing because the restaurant was full. The meal and service were outstanding. After an amuse bouche, I started with the pressée de tomate (a layer of warmed leeks, topped by a layer of smoked salmon, topped by a layer of tomatoes with some of the moisture pressed out, with an excellently spiced chive mayonnaise in a crèpe. We had lunch here on the recommendation of another tourist that we encountered at a wine tasting. It is not hard to find but is off of the main roads so it is not very obvious that it exists. The welcome and the service were warm, friendly and more prompt than one often encounters in France. We arrived without a reservation and were promptly seated at the last available table - on a pleasant tree shaded terrace. The key point here is that the meal was particularly delicious. Je voyage pour rendre visite à ma famille ici 3/4 fois par an et au cours des 8 dernières années, j'ai été dans la plupart des restaurants de la région. Celui-ci n'est pas du tout le plus cher mais je pense que c'est le meilleur. Super menu du jour avec peu d'autres choix mais peu importe quand la nourriture est si bonne. Aussi une très bonne carte des vins avec des vins locaux de qualité avérée. Marc, le Patron et sa famille prendront soin de vous avec charme et attention... et bien sûr c'est aussi un hôtel donc vous pouvez y séjourner également. Le seul inconvénient est qu'il est fermé d'octobre à mi-avril.
We reserved here for dinner as the restaurant at our hotel was closed. Our previous visit to ths establishment (for dinner and an overnight stop) was 30+ years ago(!). It is still owned and run by the same family, with the same enthusiasm and "savoir faire" that we enjoyed so much years ago.This time we had dinner on the terrace and enjoyed an excellent menu du jour - good and imaginative cuisine full of flavour and of superb quality for a very reasonable price. This restaurant is a gem - do give it a try, you will find that it is well wrth it.

We did not stay at the hotel, we only stopped there for lunch after the first part of a long hike in the Dentelles. Lunch was wonderful, in their beautiful garden. We left and got lost on the trail, hot and tired. We retraced our steps to the hotel, having gone twice our projected trip. Too tired to return we asked the proprietor to call a taxi, but when one was not to be found offered us a ride back to our car in Gigondas. So, a gret place for lunch but even better for warm and friendly service.
Sitting in the shade of the trees on the terrace was magnificent. The daily set menu lunch is a real bargain with beautifully presented and delicious food. I can highly recommend the clafoutis which was better than my grandmother makes- which was the best...Very nice and attentive service. Worth the detour.
This is my favourite restaurant in this area. Inside is a stylish restaurant, outside a beautiful shady terrace with a well tended garden and flowers, miles from any traffic noise. The food is wonderful, service very friendly.
We had a wonderful lunch on their outdoor terrace. We chose the 3 course fixed menu, and it was great. Host and servers were very polite and service was excellent.
