Fabulous Sunday Brunch! Each course was a delight. Starting with a fresh fruit salad topped with a sorbet; including melt in your mouth scones (best of my life! plus a mini croissant and confitures. The second course was the egg of the day a perfectly poached (my personal favourite egg garished with a saute of mushrooms. Delish!! The main course was a choice between braised beef or grilled salmon. Everyone (we were 6 enjoyed their choice. Finally a dessert of French apple tart. Service was impeccable; no rush, so we good relax as one would wish to enjoy our time at this venue. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. Family; friend child friendly. Others have mentioned the same things, sorry to repeat. Extremely poor and unfriendly service by waiter Yves who took about 30 minutes to take our order. They had two waiters for a busy restaurant in the tourist season. It completely ruined our meal experience. The food was nice, but pricey. Good portion sizes and nice presentation. But ultimately the poor service destroys it all. I talked to the manager about it and he blamed customers for not making reservations. It says a lot about the Trois Tilleuls' L'Artiste restaurant and I would say the hotel which is not aging well.
I don't know how we came upon this absolute gem of a hotel. It's nicer than The Broadmore! The room is vast and beautifully appointed with artwork, a fireplace, a balcony, and an over the top bathroom with a shower featuring five shower heads. The indoor pool is warm and inviting and the hallways have numbered prints and memorabilia from the life of Marylyn Monroe and James Dean. This hidden hotel begs another return.
We were so looking forward to a lovely meal on the terrasse overlooking the river. At least the ambiance was what we had hoped for. The service was fine - certainly not exceptional. But the menu was a real disappointment. It was very limited to the point that I really couldn't find anything that caught my fancy. We ended up just going with cheeses and charcuterie, which were fine. Nothing to write home about. Réservez une table maintenant
I dont get it. The food was sub par, the waitress was not able to answer questions properly. It was a quiet afternoon and I had to wait 75 minutes to get a salad which was mushy. I am beyond disappointed service was just **** and the food was less than average. The view is gorgeous so its a real shame.
We had a room in the Spa building and did not have hot water, and no internet. In the dining table the lighting was brighter than in our kitchen, service was excellent. The background music was to loud and not appropriate for this type of dining room. The package at $595 was not worth it.
