centrally located in the old town of eltville is this small cafe (and my criticism refers only to the cafe) in the market street. in rustikalem ambiente it offers very delicious cuckoos and perhaps the best coffee of the city. the service was quick and friendly - even if the more proceder (cake at the thele order and leave the ticket at the service) does not apply here: you need to remember your cake request and then specify (trained the small gray cells :-)
The worst experience I've had in Germany... We waited 20m to order breakfast and then 50m to get some bread and eggs. A simple marmelade we asked for actually had to ask for it a grand total of 5 times and in the end had to go get it ourselves. I would be sympathetic if the place was super busy, but actually found the waiters (terribly unfriendly all of them) chit chatting and chilling. Avoid it, much nicer places in the area...
excellent coffee, very tasty cake and attentive and friendly service in the café.We also used the hotel part. the building is soou old and the room in which we lived a little bit. but it is still very comfortable. directly in the center of the city you can do everything to walk, except to visit the wineries. the disadvantage (which is not even so bad) is the distance to the parking spaces. but only that.
The rose cake tasted absolutely delicious. It wasn't too sweet. The coffee was good. I had a sweet Eltville white wine, which was remarkable. Nice outside seating was available. There were 2 waiters for the entire area. Very long wait times for everything. We asked 3 times to pay our bill and after 20 minutes, we walked into the hotel to pay. Nice place if you have plenty of time to wait. Réservez une table maintenant
on the marketplace you're really good. but clearly weakened cafes have been shown. apparently, the management had in no way set up that more guests could come to celebrate than normal. the only service was completely overwhelmed and in the kitchen were apparently also enormous tight passes. until serving the flame cake, which has tasted well, it took 45 min.
a very nice caffe with small inn for warmer days. cakes and torts first class and there are also ice cream and other tasty (vapor noodle, germknödel, apfelstrudel, imiserschmarrni. of course not comparable to the backshop around the corner. I also find the coffee prices a bit too high, for a good piece of cake I also like to spend a little more.
was introduced into the hotel on business. I would never have booked this privately and would not recommend it any more. the room stinks strictly after urine. the furniture is very old and partly broken. the recipe is never to be found asking and before the window is a puppy. when opening the room was full of puppies within a few minutes.
