House of Gerhard, a staple in Kenosha since 1964. A literal mixing of supper club and old world German style food, housed inside a rustic building featuring lots of dark wood, cool, kitschy bar related items and lots of twinkle lights. You definitely get the feeling of Old World cool walking into this place. I personally loved the bar area as it really hit the nostalgia days of yore sitting in the low bar, swivel seats and watching tons of Grasshoppers and Pink Cadillacs being handmade by the bartenders. just visited after a long stay due to kovid. eating was as amazing as I remember! we ordered more than we could eat because it was so wonderful and I look forward to the left. I highly recommend the beautified mushrooms and the french woof. our server jennifer was absolutely incredible. she was extremely attentive without being obnoxily. we had an excellent time there. many thanks to everyone there!

Always really friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and specials, and made sure we had enough to drink through out the entire meal! Water never ran dry, and refils on other drinks were offered before we were empty so it would arrive in time. Everything was delicious and definitely worth it! This is why we keep coming back! Thank you Jennifer (our waitress) for making it such a fun evening!

Beautiful, sit in the dark cozy room or in back by the windows, and savor the fantastic food and attentive staff. Good was a bit earlier than our usual fare, but the flavors made it worthwhile. Looking forward to many happy returns. Réservez une table maintenant

Four of us had lunch today at House of Gerhard, a German restaurant that we have been eager to try for some time. It is not easy to find a traditional German restaurant, but House of Gerhard did not disappoint.

we had often been hitting, and we thought we'd stop. we had no reservation, but they were very accommodating. the food was excellent and the service was excellent. we'll be back soon.
