When reservations are 1st made, it should be communicated that they are only held for 10 minutes and then the customer will drop to the bottom of the list. We were 15 minutes late due to traffic and although we understand that we might have to wait a little longer, it was pretty disappointing to watch people merely walk in and be seated who didn't have a reservation. We waited for at least another 30-45 minutes after our arrival. We love the food at this restaurant and have gone here for years but the overall arrogance of the staff is pretty obvious and seems to have gotten worse. I notified the restaurant when I made the reservation that this was a birthday celebration. Other than one member of the staff saying Happy birthday there was nothing else offered. ie dessert, bowl of ice cream? I ordered a champagne cocktail and they didn 't have the fixings for it, in fact the waitress did not know what the drink was. I had mentioned to friends that the drinks here were good. Hmmm. One kind of odd thing is that you never see the same person twice at this restaurant. One person takes drink orders, another takes food orders, someone new brings the drinks and then someone different brings the appetizers and then someone else for the entrée. The three of us had one appetizer and 4 entrees. It was our friend's birthday but we got charged for her dessert. When we made a comment about this to the manager hoping that it would be complimentary she was not kind or accommodating with her response. We will not go back there. It is a very expensive restaurant. Many similar restaurants provide the birthday dessert as complementary. the manager could've just offered us either a credit or a coupon or something. Poorly handled.
As always, Houston's never dissapoints. My favorite is always the bbq ribs. They are so tender and well cooked , meat falls off the bone itself. Spinach dip is another favorite of mine is a must try. thumbs up!

The rib eye looked amazing and cooked right yet it was tough to chew, however the ribs were amazing as the grilled artichoke. The soup of the day was New England clam chowder absolutely delicious
great ambiente, service and eating. the whole experience was great and will come back soon. I loved the cale chicken salad and the crispy chicken sandwich is amazing. also artichoke was good.
I only compare the culinary experience of houston with the Pasadena location and this place is always lacking in the service! always regret to come here!
large, consistent meal times. the French dip is amazing as the thai steak nudelsalat. I can't wait to go back.
