Hub Market And Deli

This is the best BLT I've found in San Diego—definitely add avocado! Just a note, I wrote this review six years ago, and my opinion hasn't changed! The same amazing staff is still here, including a lovely lady who makes the sandwiches with so much care. This time, I tried The Aztek with extra bacon, and it was delicious! Although we recently moved our office from downtown San Diego to Chula Vista, my boss was craving a good sandwich and sent me back here. It was absolutely worth it! The owner is really cool too; he always gives me the cash from my added credit card to put in the tip jar at the sandwich counter. This is a perfect example of why we should support locally-owned small businesses...

jovanni is the man! we came to pick up a few beers and the deli was closed, but he so friendly (not has to) make us a custom sandwich. my partner and I like different spread and he even made every half sandwich different. I will not expect this special treatment in the future, but appreciate and recognize the extra miles he went. we always come here to support the city and the sandwich was tasty! craft beer have also been cheap!

I love this store already lol ... i I was briefly roling thru SD Gaslamp district and i stopped to get some water a few snacks..This store has literally every alcohol for gifts or consumtion you can ask for and Mr Regan, thank you for generosity Kindness.. trust me Kindness goes along way in my eyes.not only are you a perfect gentleman, but you showed concern thoughtfulness. You will soon be rewarded!! Tray

I'm so glad you discovered this gem! The Hub Market offers the best breakfast burritos, along with fantastic hot and cold sandwiches. They have wine, beer, soda, and snacks—pretty much everything you could want, all at great prices. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. Got our day started right by getting the Breakfast Croissant and an egg and Egg and Sausage burrito here. Made fresh in front of us, very reasonable priced, and very well located. We are here a few days, and I see the future….breakfast will be there daily!

Mario and Regan could not have been any more helpful with choosing the wine best suited for our dinner and Regan’s sandwiches were the bomb. Will be grabbing lunch here often! Both guys are extremely personable, Mario might be borderlines funny.
