The new owners have really transformed this place! They've done a fantastic job updating the old, outdated decor while maintaining the nostalgic 50's diner atmosphere. One of the fun new features is a juke box that includes a free photo booth, which we enjoyed immensely! But the highlight has to be the AMAZING MILKSHAKES! Honestly, they are the best I've ever tasted, and I can't resist them — I'm always craving their deliciousness (plus, you can even get them spiked, which is a bonus). So far, I've tried the s'mores and berry shakes; they weren't overly sweet and had the perfect texture. The food is also fantastic and very affordable. Not a bad bar/restaurant to go to at all. I greatly enjoyed going here, as I went to a friend's 21st birthday party here a few months back. Food was decent here, and unlike at other bars, you won't find a super-fancy selection of foreign beers, and'll mainly find American beers here. But they do serve Sam Adams here, so I'm definately not complaining at all! I'd probably come here very often, if I lived out in Schiller Park. We received a coupon in a mailer for this restaurant and decided to try it out by ordering a pizza. Since we live quite a distance from the place, I called to check if we were within their delivery area. The person who answered the phone was very friendly and assured me that they could deliver to us. Fantastic! We ordered an extra-large thin crust pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. My only gripe is that when I inquired about how many people an XL pizza could feed, the guy said it would serve five. Next time, I need to keep in mind that our friends have hearty appetites, and we should order two pizzas instead. Lesson learned! I think this will be our new favorite pizza delivery spot.
I have eaten here many times and enjoyed it-but let me tell you about the last time I was recently here. I picked up a pizza to take home. It was AMAZING! The crust is awesome, not soggy and not too hard to bite through. You could tell they use all fresh ingrediants-the sausage rocks! While I waited for my pizza I sat at the bar and had a beer and watched the cubs game on the tv. Great little neighborhood place that attracts the locals. If you are looking for a place that still gives you a very generous portion at a reasonable price you must try Hubcaps Bar and Grill out! Once you find it you will want to come back.
Came here after a meeting with some clients in Rosemont. Quickly just chose something with a good review close. Didnt notice it was only 13 others reviewing the place though. Almost lunch time, and there wasn't a soul in the place. Wasn't really sure about the place. The server was even surprised when I said that I planned on grabbing some food? Grabbed a chicken club wrap which was actually pretty good, and some fries which I enjoyed as well? Other than the odd atmosphere, I can't say much bad about this place.
What a fantastic spot! I really appreciate that it feels different from a typical bar and grill, with a charming 50's diner vibe. The service was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. I also tried one of the whiskey cocktails from the menu. Although I'm usually not a fan of whiskey, this drink was delicious. Overall, it's a great place to relax, enjoy some drinks, and indulge in tasty food. I'm definitely looking forward to returning!
